Director’s Biography:
Sameer Asha Patil is and Indian filmmaker and screenwriter. He hails from a small village in Maharashtra, India. After graduating in Mass Communication, he pursued his passion in filmmaking. He worked as a director’s assistant to numerous advertisement films including ‘Goa Tourism Campaign’ and feature films before started working as a director to films, ad films, documentaries and music videos.
Synopsis: Baba has spent his whole life in a small village. Baba’s son lives in city and always insists him to come and spend rest of his life with him, as he sees no future in small village. Baba has always denied his plea. But this time when he sees his granddaughter he can't resist himself. When he lands into the city he fined no connection with the artificiality and complexities of modern life. Only solace he finds is his granddaughter. He keeps missing his village. The life in the city and his intrapersonal disconnect in the times of communication only makes him suffocated. He decides to flee from the city before the bull festival. But the granddaughter has decided not to let him does that. He finds himself in dilemma of the love towards his village and his granddaughter. His mind is still in his village, but he has to adjust to this new life in city, where he doesn't belong.
