About us

Yashwantrao Chavan Pratishthan, Mumbai, Pune Film Foundation organizes 9th edition of the 'Yashwant International Film Festival' from 20th to 25th January 2019 at Yashwantrao Chavan Centre, Mumbai.
The event will be inaugurated on Sunday, 20th January 2019 at 5pm in the main auditorium of Yashwantrao Chavan Center in Mumbai. On this occasion, every year, talented and legendary film personality is felicitated for their contribution to Indian Cinema. Last year, in 8th edition of YIFF, shri. Ramesh Shippy graced the occasion.

Five films are screened in each venue in Chavan Centre every day during this film festival using DCP, Blue ray, DVD, 35MM, DG Beta and of these formats, Overall, around 75 films are screened during the festival as part of various sections
