The grand opening of Yashwantrao International Film Festival took place on Monday evening, March 21, 2022 at Yashwantrao Chavan Pratishthan, Mumbai. Pratishthan Treasurer Hemant Takle, Yashwant Film Festival Guide and Coordinator Dr. Jabbar Patel, Ma. Ambareesh Mishra was present on the stage. This year's festival is dedicated to the memory of Empress Lata Mangeshkar. The festival will feature 30 international films, including French, Indonesian, Russian and German, and five Indian films.
