Bangladeshi Hindu widow Padma who lives with her aged fragile father in law saves a Muslim man Naseer from West Bangal, who had drowned during Durga bishorjon in Ichamati river that separates the two Bangals. Padma takes care of Naseer and they plant his identity s her cousin brother to not attract suspicions as the border tensions are high and Naseer is an illegal intruder. The jamindar of Padma's village a middle aged Ganesh loves Padma and constantly tries to pursue her, and gets suspicious about Naseer. Padma and Naseer wonder how a river divided people from same ethnicity and there's so much differences in between them now be it dialect or lifestyles. Will their love cross the boundaries of nations? Can they feel secure in the society marred with hatred?

Kaushik Ganguly is an Indian director, Screenwriter and actor in Bengali cinema. He is known for his works that explore sexuality, like Ushnatar Janye (2003), which deals with a lesbian relationship and Arekti Premer Golpo (2010), which examines transgender identity. His other films explore various social issues. Ganguly's Shabdo (2013) won the 60th National Film Awards for Best Feature Film in Bengali. He won the best director award at the 44th International Film Festival of India in 2013 for Apur Panchali

Ziprya
The film tells story of Ziprya, a 17 year-old shoeshine boy from the slums of Mumbai, who is about to experience the biggest turnaround of his life. He loves his sister Leela immensely and cares a lot about his friends Aslam, Pombya, Narya, Damya and Ganjoo. They are all trying genuinely to survive the life by the way of bootpolish on the busy platforms of Mumbai local trains. But things become bad to worse when Mumbai enters the monsoon season, when people do not get their shoes shined. So endurance becomes much harder for Ziprya and his gang. In this arduous situation, normally youth drifts easily towards felony. So by harnessing the skills and leadership qualities, backed with the muscle on Narya, even Ziprya has every prospect of becoming a goon and a gang leader. But he chooses a different and difficult path to survive. 'Ziprya' is a life inspiring drama combined with thrills and twists that have a roller coaster effect, and edge of the seat excitement.

Varun has always been inclined towards theatre. After writing, directing many plays in college, he started working as Chief AD with directorial duo Sumitra Bhave and Sunil Sukathankar for 7 years. He has worked on the film Kaasav which won President's Golden Lotus for best Indian film 2016. He was associate director and co-screenplay writer of the film The Bright Day directed by Mohit Takalkar, which was screened at Torronto International Film Festival 2013. Travelling all across India, he has made more than 60 short documentaties on social work happening in remote villages.

One night, a group of workers realizes that their administration has organized the stealing of machines from their factory. They soon understand that this is the first signal of a massive layoff. Most of them refuse to cooperate during the individual negotiations and they start to occupy their workplace. So when the administration vanishes to their great surprise, they’re left with a half-empty factory... As the world around them collapses, new desires start to emerge.

Pedro Pinho studied Cinema in Lisbon and Paris. In 2008 he co-directed with Frederico Lobo the documentary feature Bab Sebta (Prize Marseille Esperance award at FID MARSEILLE’08,Best Film at Doclisboa and Forum Doc Bh. The End Of The World (2013) is his first medium-length fiction film ad it was screened at the 63rd Berlinale, Indielisboa, and Festival Do Rio. Currently he works as a director, writer and producer. The Nothing Factory is his first fiction feature.

French director Tony Gatlif is something of a specialist in odysseys - notably in his epic 1993 docu-musical Latcho Drom, about the historic journeys of Gypsy peoples across India, Europe and North Africa. It was applauded as the "Most genuine film of the year" in Cahiers du Cinema. Gatlif brought the world of the author J. M. G. Le Clézio to the screen in much appreciated Mondo (1994). His 2004 film Exils, won him the Best Director Award at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival. His recent films Transylvania (2006) and Geronimo (2014) have also premiered at Cannes
